hats...nope...hoops...yes

The hat job was cool. She seemed really into me, and my designs...but she said the position was to start June 1st. I just can't do that. I want to move July 1st to San Diego... SO.... onto the next thing. What's that? Hula Hoops. Well, Hooptastic actually. I had a long talk with my friend Sarah tonight, and my mom, and I'm going to go forward with my hula hoop biz idea. The plan is to start small... make 30 or so hoops, and have a booth at the local farmers market. If I sell even 3 hoops, it will pay for the market, but I'm pretty sure I can sell a lot more than that! My hoops are amazing, because they're professional grade, and they are collapsible! They fold into two small hoops! People LOVE them! So, Sarah and I are going in on it together... and the idea is to start with the hoops, and eventually create a line of hoop clothes to go with it. Sarah's also a fashion designer, graduating in June, so we'd be perfect together! She's a great biz woman too... was a manager at a high end boutique in Melbourne, Australia before she moved to SF... So, tomorrow, I'm on a mission to find the piping we need, and find it locally. I tried once before, and its near impossible! Not a single irrigation or plumbing supply company in Marin carries it, but it is out there! I've found it online... so that's the next step. Hooptastic, here I come!
