I do really well with deadlines. Except, self imposed ones! I got a call from the director of POTO (from now on this is how I'll refer to Phantom of the Opera...) I would be proper and just abbreviate all the words, except "the", but that would mean I'd be typing a lot of POO. Nope, don't think that would fly... Funny sidenote: I got my 10 month old niece Isla a "onesie" as we call them... Pretty funny, huh?
Anyway...wow, A.D.D. in full effect!!! Deadlines, that's right... so, i told the director I'd have my concept sketches done by today... I should have been totally honest with myself, and realized that I wanted to spend my weekend with David... he works all week, and its the 2 days that we get to really be together... I'm not gonna want to work! AND, i haven't had time to set up my studio yet... i have a really hard time getting work done when my "space" isn't up to par. So, today, I'm going to sit on the deck and draw concept ideas all day... in hopes that I can create at least 10 that I'm "ok" with... these are just the initial sketches, so its not about perfection, more about ideas... but I'm having a hard time putting my head where it needs to be...obviously!
